Racism

Racism

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. "

Martin Luther King Jr.

The pursuit of liberty by disparate peoples does more to tear down personal prejudices than any government decree. Racism is the lowest form of social discourse and interaction.

Governments have historically institutionalized racism through legal preference and advantages to certain groups, at the expense of others.

This is collectivism, the antithesis of liberty. With its constant classification of people by ethnic, religious, gender, and sexual preference, government is more likely to promote racial discord than end it. People who seek liberty work together to make sure that every person's rights are protected. Government and interest group politics push people apart. It is the pursuit of liberty and the equal application of the law that draws people together.
