Joe Pags:  “…She’s also said things like, ‘a bipartisan bill doesn’t need bipartisan support,’ I mean she is the queen of double speak.  Do you think that you’ll be able to cut through that, and really get to the hearts and minds of people in San Francisco, and make them realize that she’s really just about holding onto power, controlling them, keeping her own little fiefdom going, her own little elitism going, with her 747 that flies her around?  I mean can you get to the hearts and minds of people and make them understand that she’s not looking out for you, and the status quo doesn’t work anymore, and you can make a difference?  Can you cite places like New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts and say ‘look, if they can do it, we can do it’?”

John:  “I think so, and I think it’s already happening.  I think also we have to make sure we understand what the mission is here.  The mission is not to convert San Francisco from a liberal city to a conservative city.  The mission here is just to win enough votes to defeat Nancy Pelosi.   And, in that regard, I think we’re doing really well right now.  We’ve got a lot of people paying attention to the campaign.  Our campaign website is the most visited campaign website in America.  What you were saying before makes sense, the local voters will decide what the outcome is, but at the end of the day it really is a national election, so there’s national interest in this candidacy…”
